#EBSLG13 begins today

champersAfter months of planning, this afternoon sees the start of the 2013 EBSLG conference. I’m not sure what happened to the sunshine I ordered as the weather is overcast but at least its not raining (yet!).
We will welcome Council to Judge at 16:00, and later, at 17:45pm, all delegates, for an overview on how we offer Information & Library Services @ Judge, before we grab our punts and Champagne.

See you all later!

Andy

Welcoming you to Cambridge soon…

We are excited about the programme we have lined up for the event and very much look forward to your arrival here in Cambridge.

Here is the revised – and almost final – conference schedule

best wishes,

Andy

Food for Thought!

You will enjoy pre-dinner mingling in some of Cambridge’s most exclusive venues, a chauffeured punt along the historic River Cam, and the best of British food and drink, from traditional favourites to modern British cuisine.

You can find full menus on our venue pages, but here’s a taster:

Monday

Take a trip with us down the Cam along the famous Cambridge Backs, enjoy a glass of Champagne and relax as the punt chauffeur does the hard work! We’ll moor at the River Bar to enjoy a delicious supper in relaxed surroundings.

Tuesday

Mingle over drinks in the Impressionist Gallery at the University’s Fitzwilliam Museum, before moving the the stunning and modern courtyard area for the best in creative cuisine from Tate Catering.

Wednesday

Christ’s College Hall and Fellows’ Gardens are the setting for our sumptuous four-course gala dinner, showcasing the best of British produce in a unique Cambridge setting.

Revised Conference Title

After some deliberation we have settled on a revised conference title which better encapsulates the content of the event: ‘Library Futures: New Technologies, New Spaces, New Thinking’

We look forward to welcoming you to Cambridge and to looking into the future together.
